Thanksgiving is a fabulous time of year. You get to be together with family and friends, eat as much as you want without anyone saying a word, and there is an endless supply of desserts (my favorite part). I am thinking about Thanksgiving dinner and I can already smell the Hot Turkey, Smoked Ham, Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Homestyle Gravy, Green Beans, and of course Pumpkin Pie…are you drooling yet? (licking the screen is not advisable). These all sound so good, but what makes them sound even more appetizing is NOT having to spend two days in the kitchen cooking and baking dinner. ( I mean two days cooking and baking for an hour meal is a little unfair)…So why not go to Buca di Beppo and have an amazing Thanksgiving Dinner without the prep and without the cleanup so you have more time to spend with your loved ones? (or watching football 😉 ). Buca di Beppo has an amazing selection of food that comes in handy pre-priced packages so you know what you are getting and you can eat to your hearts content, then let them fuss with the cleaning up while you go on your way. (even if it is just to take a nap after eating all that turkey). So why not share a hassle-free holiday with your friends and family? Buca’s Family size dishes are perfect for celebrations and groups of all sizes. Buca offers two ways to enjoy this mouthwatering Thanksgiving Feast. You can either make Thanksgiving reservations and go into the restaurant and eat, or you can get the Thanksgiving Party Pan Feast to go. Either way you will be getting a delicious home-style meal that is sure to please every one. If you chose the Thanksgiving Party Pan Feast to go, they even have curbside pickup making it as simple for you as possible. If you choose to go in – you simply make the reservation and then show up hungry! The Buca di Beppo Thanksgiving Feast menu includes all of your traditional favorites with an Italian Twist. The Spicy Italian Sausage stuffing sounds divine, and the Hickory-Smoked ham has my mouth watering. If these are not your thing, the Buca di Beppo menu that we all know and love will still be available on Thanksgiving Day. You can stop by and enjoy any of their yummy food after they open at 11 am. Don’t worry about the dishes, and the cleaning, and the cooking, and the dishes (oh wait, already said that), and just enjoy a mouth watering Thanksgiving Feast from Buca di Beppo. It is the perfect place for great Italian Food and fun! I can’t wait for Thanksgiving with my family. Good food, family, friends, love and laughter. Happy Thanksgiving!

One Thanksgiving, we put together a potluck dinner at our apartment’s office. All the people (like us) who didn’t have family in town were invited to come and bring a side dish. We had over 20 people attend – it was a fun way to meet some neighbors and enjoy Thanksgiving dinner in a new way!

Most of my favorite Thanksgivings involved visits my grandparent’s house. I have tried to recreate this feeling with my kids, but it just isn’t the same with the family spread throughout the country.

My favorite memory is when my dad would cook the turkey, deviled eggs and stuffing and my mom would make her rolls and get everything else ready. My dad would also make pumpkin pie. I have 4 brothers and 3 sisters and we would always take a picture around the table before we could eat. My granny would always join us and stay to play with us after dinner. Such a good time.

My favorite Thanksgiving experience was when I was a young child and the women and children in my family would make my grandmama’s famous fruit salad. The men would all be out deer hunting while we would sit around and cut up fruit and crack nuts for the salad. It was so delicious and made even special because we all had a hand in its creation.

The best part about Thanksgiving for me is getting to spend time with family I don’t get to see very often. It’s a wonderful time.
