This post about Turks and Caicos is brought to you by Beaches Resorts. All opinions are my own.
Winter, snow, and chilly weather is great. But if you are like me, you want to get away to sandy beaches, warm weather and all things sunny during the winter months. So today I am sharing more about Warm Winter Giveaways in the Caribbean, namely Beaches Turks and Caicos.
This way you can start planning and take a trip to the mesmerizing Beaches Resorts in Turks and Caicos or one of their other amazing resorts. We love to travel and we are always planning our next adventure.
A few years ago I went on a second honeymoon to Beaches Resorts in Turks and Caicos with my husband. It was 5 of the most amazing days I have ever spent with him. We made memories to last a lifetime, but we have been planning another trip back because we loved it so much, and taking our kids this time!
Whether you have been before or not, here are 10 reasons you need to go (or go back) now. This is just a shortlist of the reasons we love it there. Be sure to visit their website to see the full list of everything that is included at their resorts.
10 fantastic reasons you need to plan a trip to Turks and Caicos now
1) ALL-INCLUSIVE
My favorite part is that Beaches is all-inclusive. All the food and drinks, fun, entertainment, programs, water park, swimming pools and everything else that is offered there, is included in your stay. This also includes tips, taxes and gratuities, round-trip airport transportation and even free wi-fi! See the full list of everything that is included here.
2) WATERSPORTS
You may not think that this is something that interests you, or this may be the thing you are most excited about, but I have to tell you, it was one of my favorite things! Available for use are kayaks, hydro bikes, Hobie cats, snorkels, paddleboards, and boards for windsurfing.
Spend your day on the beautiful calm turquoise water exploring the 12 miles of beaches, or go snorkeling and discover the amazing sea life just under the surface. You can even go scuba diving (if you are certified).
The best part…it is ALL INCLUSIVE! Play in the water to your heart’s content without paying anything extra!
3) WATERPARK
The Pirate Island Waterpark is so much fun that you could literally spend all day there and not get bored. It is filled with gigantic waterslides, pools (kid-friendly), water cannons, a surf simulator, a lazy river, and even a swim-up soda bar! Whether you bring your kids or not, plan on spending time playing here.
4) EXPLORING THE BEACHES
With 12 miles of beautiful sandy beaches, clear turquoise water, and warm sunny weather, we spent a lot of time on the beach and in the ocean. If I haven’t already said it enough, TAKE A CAMERA – especially a Go Pro or Action Cam that can go in the water, down the slides, and in the pools so you can document every minute of your adventure. (especially snorkeling)
5) GOING ON EXCURSIONS
We were able to go on a couple of different excursions while we were there. These were absolutely something that we will do next time we go because they were so much fun! The Catamaran Cruise is fantastic! We also did the Island Vibes Kitty Kat cruise. This was an unforgettable experience. Our group went out into the reef and we jumped off the boat and swam around and snorkeled enjoy the stunning views under the water. (There is a cost for these, but they are very fun and well worth the money)
6) GOURMET RESTAURANTS
There are 21 Gourmet Restaurants at the Turks and Caicos Beaches Resort. Over our 5 days there we were able to try most of them. From sweets to savory, there was not one thing that we didn’t love. It was so nice to go out to eat the delicious food and not have to worry about “where to go” or “how much it would be”.
We don’t drink alcohol, but there are unlimited premium liquors, stocked bars in every room as well as Unlimited Robert Mondavi Twin Oaks® wines.
Enjoy delicious fare from all over the world without leaving the resort. AND I love that the Turks and Caicos resort now has Waterpark Food Trucks! How cool is that?
7) NIGHTLY ENTERTAINMENT
After playing all day on the beach, eating delicious food, exploring the water park and the rest of the Beaches resort, you will want to save some of your energy for the nightly entertainment! There are live shows, beach parties, themed nights, nightclubs, bonfires and so much more. You will want to stay longer just to experience everything!
There are entertainments geared for everyone from kids to teens to adults so be sure to check out all of the fantastic entertainments you can enjoy!
8) THE DRINKS AND CABANAS
One of my favorite memories of our trip was getting drinks (we got mocktails) and then going and sitting in the cabanas facing the ocean and just soaking it all up. The beautiful view, sounds of the ocean and warm sun made everything seems almost magical. These are also great places to sit and enjoy watching the people doing the watersports (especially if you know people doing them).
9) PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES
There is no lack of photo opportunities here. From the minute Turks and Caicos come into view from the plane, you will be snapping pictures. I highly recommend taking as many photos and videos as you can. (Tip: Get a waterproof pouch for your phone so you can keep it with you all the time and be able to take all those pictures and videos). Be sure to walk along the boardwalks next to the ocean, sit in the gazebos, lounge in the hammocks and explore every area possible.
10) SUNRISES AND SUNSETS
Take every opportunity to see the sunrises and sunsets while you are there. We often saw a rainbow in the morning with the sunrise which was really a phenomenal thing. The sunset over the turquoise water was breathtaking. So be sure to take the time to soak them up (maybe with a drink in a cabana) while you are there. You can even get food to go (like the pizza which is amazing) and take it to a great beachfront view! Dinner and a sunset. Or eat at one of the restaurants on the beach with the view to the ocean and sunset. We did this a couple of times and loved it!
If you haven’t visited the Caribbean, there is no better time than right now! As you have read, there are so many activities, events, and things to do there. With pretty much everything built into your stay, you don’t have to worry about any other costs. (The excursions are extra)
