I just finished sharing a good part of our adventures in Washington and the beginning of Oregon and I realized that I had forgotten to share our stop at Snoqualmie Falls. This is a beautiful 268-foot waterfall that will take your breath away. I just had to backtrack for a second and add this to the list!
The parking lot is across the street, but there is a bridge you can cross to get to the falls. If you have time, there are a few places to eat and lots of history to explore in the area. It is SO BEAUTIFUL! We just stood there watching the falls for several minutes.
This is a place that you will want to stop by on your trip, no matter where you are going, or head out to explore the area if you live close. We stopped here on our way from Mt. Rainier on our way to the Thunderbird RV Resort near Seattle.
This is one of Washington States’ most popular attractions. That means there are a lot of people. Just be patient and you will get your chance to take a picture in front of the falls or take some video. There are two tiers that you can view the falls from, we went to the lower one.
Just as FYI, the parking lot and trail are only open from dawn until dusk. You can take pets as long as they are on a leash. This is also wheelchair accessible.
Not only are there places to eat but there is a gift shop where you can buy delicious food mixes and more! Learn more about Snoqualmie Falls and get answers to your questions here.
