Traveling with kids. …
There are alot of words that come to mind when I think about this (like loud, whiny, fighting, complaints of always being hungry, thirsty; or having to go potty… just to name a few). I provide what I like to call distractions to keep them entertained and preoccupied until they either fall asleep or we get there. We have coloring books, games, crafts, and other things but what to do when they go through all of it, or it is/gets dark?
That is where their Kindle’s/Game Systems come in. Handy things those. Each of our kids have a Kindle Fire setup with Kindle free time we are able to let them play without worrying about them accessing apps or making purchases. This affords us some much needed quiet time and let’s them have their own space… The only issue with them is that they die. The batteries only last 2-3 hours with how the kids play them and this isn’t long enough on a 14 hour road trip. Our Solution? We get RAVPower Luster portable battery chargers to recharge them while they nap or do something else for a while.
The RAVPower Luster Chargers are so awesome and such a great way to travel that we have one for each kid. They are perfect for charging their Kindle’s while on the go but they are also perfect for mom and dad to use for phones, cameras, and other electronic devices. Another bonus is that they come with a flashlight on the end. My kids love this and it helps them while we are traveling in the dark.
This is a must have item in your kids travel bags. They come complete with usb cable and travel bag. Read more about them at:

I want a few of these for our devices! We are always charging all day and all night, and yet our devices seem to be low on power just as we’re leaving the house!
