I had the most amazing news delivered to my inbox a couple of weeks ago. I have been invited to be part of an once-in-a-lifetime trip for Disney-Pixar to San Francisco for the film release of Disney/Pixar’s THE GOOD DINOSAUR, the In-Home release of Disney/Pixar’s INSIDE OUT as well as the hit Disney Junior show MILES FROM TOMORROWLAND! We will also have the privilege of touring The Walt Disney Family Museum, visiting Google HQ and more!
This is going to be an amazing trip filled with information and fun! Read through the list of what we are doing and ask any questions for the talent that we will be interviewing!
INSIDE OUT (On Blu-ray and Digital HD 11/3/15)

We get to be part of the INSIDE OUT and “RILEY’S FIRST DATE?” press day. I can’t wait to see this – I fell in love with this cute family in the movie Inside Out – and I am so glad that they are making more. I hope for several sequels. While we are at the Press Day we will be able to screen “RILEY’S FIRST DATE?” and interview:
- Josh Cooley (Director of “RILEY’S FIRST DATE?”)
- Mark Nielsen (Producer of “RILEY’S FIRST DATE?”)
- Kyle MacLachlan (voice of “Riley’s Dad” – @Kyle_MacLachlan)
- Kaitlyn Dias (voice of “Riley” – @kaitlyn_dias)
- Phyllis Smith (voice of “Sadness”)
- Richard Kind (voice of “Bing Bong”)
- Pete Docter (Director of INSIDE OUT)
- Jonas Rivera (Producer of INSIDE OUT)
My husband and I both love watching Agents of Shield and so when I saw that I got to interview Kyle MacLachlan I couldn’t wait to tell him. While we are there we will also be able to do a “RILEY’S FIRST DATE?” green screen photo opp. That is going to be a lot of fun! I haven’t been able to do a green screen before – I can’t wait!
THE GOOD DINOSAUR (11/25/15)

Another part of the trip will include a visit to Pixar Animation Studios to screen “SANJAY’S SUPER TEAM” followed by a Q&A with Director Sanjay Patel & Producer Nicole Grindle. And we will also be able to preview a part of THE GOOD DINOSAUR movie! Then we will be able to meet Director Peter Sohn & Producer Denise Ream and see a slideshow and hear stories from their research trips. Along with all of the amazing stuff so far we will be able to tour the Pixar Campus, and take a tour through Pixar’s archive warehouse in celebration of the 20th Anniversary of TOY STORY! YAY!
We will get to meet and interview the talent behind the scenes of The Good Dinosaur including:
- Sharon Calahan (Director of Photography – Lighting)
- Meg LaFauve (Screenwriter)
- Kelsey Mann (Story Supervisor)
- Harley Jessup (Production Designer)
- Sanjay Bakshi (Supervising Technical Director)
- Jon Reisch (Effects Supervisor)
- Mike Venturini (Supervising Animator)
- Kevin O’Hara (Animator)

I can’t wait to meet this amazing team and learn more about the movie The Good Dinosaur that comes out in November.
