We were hosted at the Thousand Trails Verde Valley RV & Camping Resort. All opinions are my own. Now that we have been here at the Verde Valley RV & Camping Resort in Arizona for a couple of days, we are familiar with where everything is and we wanted to explore some more. Yesterday we went out and visited the Out of Africa Wildlife Park and then drove into Cottonwood and went to the Blazin’ M Ranch for dinner. It was so much fun. In between all of that, we went swimming and relaxed at our cottage and watched TV and enjoyed exploring the resort.
What is there to do at the Verde Valley RV & Camping Resort?
With a large family, we loved being able to keep food in the fridge and cupboards and be able to eat there. That saved us a lot of money. It was nice to also have the BBQ and fire pit outside to use. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed eating out a couple times. There is a pool and a hot tub that we used several times. The kids had so much fun there and spent hours swimming. There is also a pool lodge where you can play games, watch movies, etc.
There is also a family center where you can play mini-golf, ping-pong, foosball as well as do puzzles, get books to read, card games and more! There is also a store here where you can buy things you need like groceries, personal items, etc for reasonable prices. There is also a basketball court, playground, and more for your family to enjoy. There is so much to do here that your family could stay on-site and enjoy all of the amenities without getting bored. You can also experience things like the Out of Africa Wildlife Park (that is just a few miles down the road), the Blazin’ M Ranch Chuck Wagon Dinner and Show, the Tuzigmoot Monument, Dead Horse Ranch State Park and more all close by.
We are heading out today to go to the Grand Canyon, so we will share those adventures with you soon.
