I recently had the fun opportunity to test drive the 2016 Kia Sedona SXL for about a week (all opinions here are my own). This van is really fun and packed with everything you can think of. It has enough room to seat 7 comfortably, and with the reclining seats in the middle, the full dual power sunroofs, 3.3L DOHV CVVT V6 Engine, 6-speed automatic transmission with sportmatic, and the rear entertainment system are just a few of the features that set this van apart from its competition. It is very comfortable to ride in with a lot of room for everyone and everything you may need to take with you,as well as the luxury and comfort to get there in style.
The inside of the 2016 Kia Sedona is impressive – and I fell in love immediately. Sitting in the drivers seat you are privy to a heated steering wheel, heated and ventilated seats, Steering-Wheel-Mounted Audio, Hands-Free Phone and Cruise Control Buttons, a comfortable center console the Voice-Command Navigation with 8″ Touch Screen Display, & SiriusXM® Traffic, 360 degree Surround View Monitor (SVM) camera that shows all the way around the car when you are in reverse (and an option to turn it on in drive), push button start, memory driver’s seat position and more. These are just a handful of the things you will notice when you get in. When you drive the Kia Sedona you will notice great features like the auto-dimming headlights that dim on their own when you are driving, Smart cruise control that stays a specific distance behind the car in front of you, lane departure warning system, forward collision warning system, front/rear parking assist system and more.
As a passenger in the van you will be able to enjoy the rear entertainment system, (sunroof over the back seats), the second row of seats are recliners, plenty of space and even a 115V power inverter where you can plug things in and charge your devices, etc. My kids loved how much room there was and how comfortable all the seats were. I also liked how big and roomy the trunk was and allowed for all of our luggage, etc when we traveled. It is a deep trunk with a push button open, as well as a Smart “Hands Free” power lift gate.
