We had our first experience with Wyndham while we were traveling in California during Spring break. We were in the Los Angeles area and we were looking for a place to stay that could accommodate our family in a nice area. We ended up in the Wyndham Santa Monica at the Pier and absolutely loved it. I loved the very nice Valet and how helpful and quick they were.
We arrived very late (or early) around 3 in the morning. They were very helpful in getting our luggage on the carts and checking us in quickly. I was very excited when we arrived and found out that we had two connecting rooms. One with a King bed and another room with two beds for the kids. It was so nice.
We were able to get them to sleep, each one comfortable in their own space, and then we could go into our room with the door left slightly open and we had our own room where we could watch tv, I could work, or even snack without waking the kids up.
I also loved the separate bathrooms. It was so nice in the morning to have two bathrooms so we could all get ready faster. There was no fridge in our room but they were awesome and had one brought up and plugged in before we even finished getting our stuff out of the car since they knew we had been on the road for several days and had a cooler.
The rooms were very spacious with amazing views of the ocean from our windows. It was just a short walk to get down there and the pier was amazing. There was a beautiful pool area, restaurant, gym, and other features that made this the perfect place for us to stay in Santa Monica. You can see all of the amenities and more here.
I was so excited about the little things like having outlets in the lamps and a nice office space for me to work while we were there. The room we stayed in – the King Executive Suite – was amazing. It had a full couch and two very comfortable chairs as well as a nice 32″ flat screen TV. The couch pulled out to a sofa bed but we didn’t need it since they gave us an adjoining room. They kids stayed in a Ocean View Double bed room. It also had a 32″ TV and a gorgeous view of the Ocean.
Overall we were very happy with our stay there. The rooms are very nice and there are a lot of amenities. Wyndham Santa Monica at the Pier is a beautiful Hotel with a short walk down to the pier. You will want to stay here when you are in the area! We stayed for three days and two nights because we went to Universal Studios (not to far of a drive, only took maybe 25 minutes), we explored Hollywood, and we played on the beach! It was perfect!

Two bathrooms is always a great convenience and you cant beat ocean view rooms.
