This is a sponsored post from Zions Bank as part of Forward Influence, but all opinions and experiences are my own.
We just went on a big 2-week vacation to three different states with our kids. This took a lot of planning and saving. We budgeted what we would need for gas, lodging, food and souvenirs. Because we wanted to stay within our budget, we used our Zions Bank OnCard.
This was so helpful. We were able to transfer different amounts to the OnCard for different places and it was so easy to manage and use. Because OnCard is a prepaid Visa card, we were able to use it everywhere. The only difference is that it is linked to our checking account so we can reload it easily as needed. This kept us within our budget for souvenirs and other things while we were traveling.
OnCard is also a lot more convenient than cash, and easier to track what and where you are spending your money thanks to an integrated money management app. Because you can put a certain amount on your OnCard, it sets a limit as you would with cash, but without the hassle of having to find an ATM or carry cash around.
The biggest reason I love using our OnCard when we travel is that it helps to keep us from going into debt like you would with a credit card. It has the convenience of a credit card and is easy to use. But it has limited funds (only what you put on the card) for each transaction, similar to using cash.
OnCard really is the perfect option for traveling. It is safer and more convenient than cash, and helps you stay on budget!
We just shared more information about OnCard and all of the other benefits for day-to-day use. Be sure to read more about that here!
