Did you know that 1 in 5 kids in Utah struggle with hunger?
Denny’s is part of the fourth annual No Kid Hungry fundraising campaign running through Sept. 30. All 26 Denny’s in the Salt Lake City area are raising funds to help end childhood hunger.
Guests can donate to the cause via 1 of 4 ways this year:
- In-store: Donate $3, get $9 worth of Denny’s coupon in return (and sign a pledge to end hunger)
- Online: visit dennys.com/nokidhungry to donate and get a coupon for $5 off your next meal at Denny’s
- Text: Text ‘dennys’ to 877877, get information on how to donate and get a coupon for $5 off your next meal at Denny’s
- T-shirts: visit dennys.com/nokidhungry to buy one of three t-shirts for $10 designed by three Denny’s team members in Texas, Nev. and Ky.; proceeds from the shirts go directly to No Kid Hungry – and the team member whose design the sells the most by the end of the campaign wins $300, a paid day off and Denny’s CEO John Miller will personally cover one of their shifts!
Last year, Denny’s raised nearly $800,000; this year, we hope to top $1 million.
Guests are invited to contribute to the cause via two alternative means this year, including making a monetary donation of their choice at dennys.com/nokidhungry; all who donate online will be e-mailed a coupon for $5 off their next $20 meal at Denny’s. Customers can also pledge their support by purchasing one of three exclusive No Kid Hungry campaign t-shirts – designed by Denny’s team members in Texas, Nevada and Kentucky – for $10 each. T-shirts are produced byBooster, available at dennys.com/nokidhungry and a portion of all sales goes directly to No Kid Hungry.
This is a great way to help support those in our community who need more and you get something out of it as well!
