We had so much fun going to Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point for their baby animal birthday party. There were baby goats, sheep, chicks, rabbits, and more and we thoroughly enjoyed watching them and petting them. We even got to feed many animals (with the approved food sold at the ticket desk).
While we were there we got to interact with all the animals, the kids went on a tractor train ride, we all went on a wagon ride, and we had birthday cake. Next time we are going to do pony rides as well (the lines were pretty long during the event).
At Farm Country they have special programs like Melody Makers on Thursdays, Tales for Tots on Wednesdays, the Junior Master Gardner program and so much more! Be sure to plan on spending at least 2 hours there if you really want to take your time and enjoy all of the animals as well as do all of the extras like the wagon ride, pony rides, cow milking, etc (all included with the price of your admission). The bags of food are $1.50 (pricing may change) and 1 bag lasted our whole family for the entire time we were there.

As you can see from our pictures, there is so much to do at Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point when you visit. But they also have a bunch of special events, and most of them are free for members. Now is a great time to get a membership for your family. There are a lot of great things coming up this year, like Escape to Dinosaur Island at Thanksgiving Point (27 different animatronic dinosaurs come to life in Ashton Gardens), Fairy Tale Festival (fairy tale characters, pirate ship, mermaid encounter, and more!), and so many more amazing things! They also just finished the Tulip Festival and we had a great time walking around the beautiful gardens.
That looks like a super fun activity. I love being able to interact with all kinds of animals. Very fun!!
