Eagle Mountain has an amazing addition to their city. The new Cory B. Wride Memorial Park had their grand opening last week and has been packed ever since. The park boasts a nice size splash pad/water play area, climbing areas, sand/water play area with digging tools, swings, zip lines, slides, drums, and so much more!
We have already gone a few times, and my kids don’t want to leave when it is time to go. On top of all of the features for the kids, there are basketball courts, pickleball, tennis courts, a soccer field and large pavilions making this the perfect place for a family get-together, party or a day out with your kids.
The splash pad at Wride Memorial Park is open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday-Saturday
The Cory B. Wride Memorial Park address is 1427 Mid Valley Road, Eagle Mountain, Utah (located just off of Pony Express)
Since it is a new park, the trees aren’t very big yet, so don’t plan on finding a lot of shade unless you are under one of the pavilions, splash pad area or by the slides. There is some seating, but I would recommend bringing a chair or blanket to sit on (also an umbrella or umbrella tent if you want shade). There are bathrooms and drinking fountains. Dogs are allowed in the park area, just keep them on a leash. There is even a sign with doggy bags if you need them on the south-east end of the park by the bathrooms.
This is just one of the many things in the area to do. If you like hiking, be sure to see this list of 25 Waterfall Hikes in Utah you can add to your summer plans!

Plan on spending at least a couple of hours here so your kids can experience everything. It is the perfect opportunity for you to relax and read a book while they play, or even run around with them and have fun. There are a lot of people there and it is big, so be sure to keep a watchful eye.
We made a video walking you around the park so you know what to expect
