We received a complimentary or discounted stay in order to share this review with you. All opinions are my own.
We have shared so many fun and informative things about our trip to Florida already, from Universal Studios Orlando, Disney World, LEGOLAND and more! Today I am sharing our review of the CoCo Key Hotel & Water Resort in Orlando Florida. It is located close to Universal Studio, Sea World and Disney World. It is also close to International Drive where you will find a lot of fun things to do like the Orlando Eye, Sea Life Aquarium and more! While you are planning your stay, I recommend that you plan on spending a day just at the hotel enjoying the onsite waterpark. We spent about 5 hours there, and the kids didn’t want to go. All of the slides are fun, the tubes are included and there is a lot to do for kids and adults of every age.
The rooms are large and comfortable. I liked the layout and also that we were able to get connecting rooms so that our kids could have their space and we could have ours, while still being able to stay close to them. There are mini-fridges and microwaves in the rooms while allowed us to save a little on eating out by getting some groceries and eating in the room.
Also on-site are two nice swimming pools (that are open earlier and later than the waterpark) and an arcade. All of these things combined with restaurants, a mini-grocery store and several other amenities like free wi-fi and free parking, making it the perfect place for our large family to finish out our vacation. We were able to relax, enjoy the water park and unwind at the CoCo Key Hotel & Water Resort in Orlando, Florida.
Here are some things you need to know about the resort:
CoCo Key Hotel and on-site Water Resort is the best Orlando hotel for your family! With 391 guest rooms, a 54,000 sq. ft. canopy covered and outdoor water park, a 6,500 sq. ft. state-of-the-art arcade, 3 on-site restaurants, a convenience store, and a short drive to Orlando theme parks and shopping, we are the perfect location for your next vacation. Included in your stay is:
- Hotel amenities: parking, Wi-Fi, exclusive resort pool access, water park towel service, fitness center, business center with complimentary printing and high speed Internet.
- Water Park Admission for up to 4 people per room per day, valid from the day of check in through check out.
- Scheduled Shuttle Service to Universal Orlando™ Resort and SeaWorld® Orlando.
- Resort Entertainment: For a list of daily resort activities and times please see our activities bulletin or at the front desk.
The water resort has four sections. One for kids, with little slides, and several water features. One for older kids with a bigger slide and a large pool, a section that is packed with slides, bridges, a large bucket that tips about every 5 minutes, and much more. The last section is where the big slides are. There is a body slide (blue and orange), a bomerang style slide which is on a tube (red and white), and then another tube slide (yellow).
There is a lot of seating around the waterpark, many of them shaded and with tables so you can order food or drinks and have a place to sit down and eat. There are also a lot of lounge chairs and covered loungers. You get your towels from the desk when you go in and there are baskets in several locations to drop them off as you leave. You get a band when you check in that you put on and keep on for your entire visit.
As one of the best Orlando water parks, kids can splash and play all day long at CoCo Key Orlando. With 14 slides, 3 heated pools, and a 6,500 sq. ft. arcade, there is plenty of space for kids to explore.
Overall we really loved our stay here. The staff is helpful and friendly and they were able to take care of any issues that we had and your family will have a great time spending the day under the sun playing and cooling off in the water. Learn more about CoCo Key Hotel & Water Resort on:

That does look like a great place for families to stay. I like that the water park is included in the room rate.

What an awesome place! I would love to unleash the kid in me and go down those water slides! I have to add this to our travel bucket list. I mean, we’ve been to Orlando several times, but the next time we are there, I will make sure we stay at the Coco Key Resort and Waterpark.

We are in the Florida area so we frequently pass by Coco Key as we drive to Orlando! I hope to stay here one day.

Very fun and very crowded at times, especially in July.
