We received this car for a test drive. All opinions are my own.
I love going on family vacations. Being together, enjoying new and old things, exploring and learning is all part of the fun. This year, we decided to take an almost three week trip to Orlando, Florida. Since we live in Utah, and we didn’t want to drive cross-country because of time constraints, we flew into Orlando, and we were able to drive around the new 2017 Kia Sedona SXL while we were there. I can honestly tell you, that I fell in love with this car while we were there. We started out trip out by heading down to Haines City, FL and going to LEGOLAND. We got used to the crazy afternoon thunderstorms pretty quick.
We landed pretty late (after midnight EST) but it didn’t phase my kids at since they were still running on MST. We got our luggage from the airport and headed out to pick up our Kia Sedona. I was a little worried because, between all 6 of us, we had 18 bags (6 check bags, 6 backpacks, and 6 carry-ons) to fit in the car, plus all 6 of us. It may not have been too bad to have to squish, but we had an hour drive to get to our hotel so we would be close to LEGOLAND the next morning. All of my worrying was for naught. As soon as I saw how much room the trunk had, and how roomy the inside of the van is, I knew we would be fine. It only took a few minutes to load all of the suitcases and bags into the car, get the kids buckled up, and we were on our way.
The built-in navigation was a lifesaver for us while we were on this trip. It was the first time any of us had been to Florida before, so we had no idea where we were going and didn’t want to have to worry about using our MAP app on our phones. It was easy to use and worked great, getting us where we needed to go every time. It was also useful in searching the area for gas stations, restaurants, stores and more!
The built-in entertainment system saved us when we were driving long distances (like to the beach or back to Orlando from Haines City). Because of the double sunroof, the DVD screen is placed down on the middle console right between the two front seats. They didn’t watch it a lot though, because they loved getting to know all of the new places that we went to. From Universal Orlando Resort to Disney World, to the Canaveral National Seashore, we had an amazing time and we were able to get comfortable and safe while we were going from place to place.
From the beginning of our journey to the end, we enjoyed the comfort and reliability of of the KIA Sedona SXL. There is plenty of room for large bags, groceries, a big family almost anything else! I also fell in love with all of the storage compartments around the front seats. There is also a lot of cup holders, which was nice. The pick up on the car, the steering, driving and ride all are fab and I loved all of the extra features and the keyless entry and the keyless start.

Awesome pictures! The 2017 Kia Sedona would be pleasurable to take a road trip in. Spacious enough for a large family and it looks so comfy. My daughter is shopping for a vehicle for her family of six, I’ll have to suggest she tke a look at this.
