A couple of weeks ago I was able to test drive the 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport 2.4 SEL AWC for a week. This is a fun SUV that we really enjoyed. This model seats 5 comfortably with a good amount of trunk space. The controls on the steering wheel combined with the great touch screen console and center system make this car really fun to drive. There are paddles on the steering wheel that allow you to shift the gears just like a standard, but it also has the convenience of a automatic transmission so you can enjoy it either way.
Whether you’re heading out for a grand adventure or the smallest errand, Outlander Sport is up for the challenge. It’s equipped with available All-Wheel-Control for superior handling and the confidence to explore more.
I love that the rear view mirrors fold in when I lock the car. This is great not only when I have to park in tight places, but also in my driveway because I don’t have to worry about my kids running into my rear view mirrors. The keyless entry system is nice because in addition to have the fob to unlock the doors, you can also push a button on the door handle (as long as the key is close) to unlock and lock the doors. I can just put the key in my purse and not have to dig for it when I get in and out of the car. I love it.
The 2016 model has a whole new look on the outside. The revamped exterior is sleek and I love the new design. The interior has also been updated with improved features and styling. The Mitsubishi Outlander has a 2.0L or 2.4L engine with CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) and gets up to 29 mpg on the highway. This is a great ride, comfortable and easy to drive. You will be planning places to go just so you can drive this CUV!
Here is a short video we did to show you more about the Outlander
